I underwent microscopic back surgery in January 2022. The surgeon resigned a week later.
The pain remains the same. Whenever I complain of pain, they say it can happen because the surgery site hasn't been open for long.
I've been going there for three months, but it's exactly the same. Now, the doctors say they don't know what's wrong and tell me to go see the surgeon who performed the surgery... Seriously? So I confronted them, and they told me to do whatever I wanted. They threatened legal action.
Since then, I have been seeing a psychiatrist for panic disorder. The hospital director is still the same person.
To think this place is a hospital selected by the Ministry of Health and Welfare... just ridiculous...
Don't go there... They have a Seoul National University graduate director sitting there like a doll...
It's absurd when they say even that director doesn't know...

I am a foreigner residing in Korea. I have previously received treatment at this hospital, and I was very satisfied with the doctor's care at that time. I was prescribed medication and was instructed to return for a follow-up appointment after finishing the course of treatment. However, due to personal circumstances, some time passed, and I am visiting again now.
On this visit, I took a number ticket as instructed by the staff and waited. I was waiting on the first floor starting around 4:00 PM on April 17, 2026. However, despite waiting for a long time, my number was not called; instead, numbers behind mine were continuously called first. This caused me considerable confusion.
Therefore, I calmly and politely inquired with the staff at reception/payment counters No. 5 and No. 6 on the first floor. However, I was very disappointed to find their attitude unfriendly and somewhat unpleasant. As a foreigner, I may find it difficult to fully understand the procedures, so I hope there will be a little more consideration in this regard.
I hope the hospital will operate the number calling system more clearly and improve its friendly service, especially for foreign patients.
I am a foreigner currently living in Korea, and I have visited this hospital before. My previous experience with the doctor was quite goodβthe doctor explained everything clearly, prescribed medication, and advised me to return for a follow-up visit after finishing the medicine. However, due to my busy schedule, I was only able to come back recently.
During this visit, I followed the staffβs instructions, took a queue number, and waited. I had been waiting on the first floor since around 4:00 PM on April 17, 2026. However, even after a long time, my number was not called, while numbers after mine were continuously being called before me. This situation left me quite confused.
I politely asked a staff member at the reception/payment counter (Desk No. 5β6 on the first floor) about it, but their response was not friendly and seemed somewhat irritated, which made me feel uncomfortable. As a foreigner, I may not fully understand the procedures, so I would have appreciated a more patient and supportive attitude.
I hope the hospital can improve its queue management system to avoid confusion, and also provide more friendly and considerate service, especially for foreign patients.

In 2013, I didn't have surgery at this hospital, but only received FI injections.
This time, my fifth disc ruptured, so I had to have surgery on the previous ruptured discs, the fourth and fifth.
After the surgery, the only things that were incredibly expensive were an MRI (450,000 won),
a useless thermal scan (200,000 won),
a back brace (250,000 won),
and I was able to eat well. ~γ

I went because of a herniated disc in my neck, and the doctor looked at the MRI and said it was serious and I needed surgery. He didn't explain it in detail, so I'm looking for another hospital.
