βI highly recommend Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine for car accident recovery. The facilities are top-notch, featuring motion beds, individual TVs, and refrigerators that made my week-long stay incredibly comfortable. I was impressed by the systematic care, including twice-daily acupuncture and physical therapy followed by thorough doctor consultations. Even the herbal medicine was surprisingly easy to drink, and the meals were so delicious that I looked forward to every menu. Thanks to the professional medical team and the clean environment, I feel much better and confident about avoiding long-term aftereffects.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS β I left with new pain and a huge bill at β©2 million
I donβt usually leave reviews like this, but I really wish Iβd read something similar before going.
I visited the Oriental Medicine Department at Jaseng Hospital on 5th floor and was treated by German Dr. Raimund Royer. I came in hoping to improve an existing issue, but after his Chuna therapy, I developed new pain around my pelvic/hip area and now i have to live with it.
The whole visit felt very commercial. On the first day, they pushed X-rays, MRI, blood tests, urine tests, and expensive herbal medicine, without clearly explaining the prices before taking me to each step. Their price sheet lists MRI from β©758,200 to β©934,600, blood tests up to β©400,000, and herbal medicine up to β©1,319,400 per month.
By the end, the costs were close to β©2 million, and I felt like I had been pushed through a sales system with factory-like approach.
βΌοΈ Dr. Raimund Royer is part of a referral-based system where different agents promote Jaseng on other platforms and send foreigners directly to him. He runs this like a factory: the same routine, the same expensive diagnostics, the same herbal medicine upsell, then the next person. I felt like another βguinea pigβ in their system, not a patient. He injected something into my body without properly explaining what it was, why I needed it, or what the risks were. This is not proper medical care. Avoid him if you care about your health and your money.

In Seoul, you can easily find acupuncture, cupping, and Chuna therapy at smaller Korean medicine clinics for around β©25,000ββ©50,000, with much more transparent pricing and a more personal approach. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.
I spent around 5 hours there doing all these diagnostics and treatments. The international staff moved me between floors, left me waiting around diagnostics, and often didnβt explain what was happening next. It was stressful, confusing, and very badly organised.
Dr. Royer also came across as arrogant, condescending and the appointment felt rushed and impersonal. I felt like the goal was to maximise tests and sell as much herbal medicine as possible on the first visit.
βΌοΈ Also, be careful with positive Google reviews in Seoul. Many clinics make customers to leave good reviews by offering discounts, freebies, or free services, so I would not rely only on high ratings. Thatβs a whole system that exists in majority of the clinics.
I came there to fix a problem and left with a new one. I would not recommend this clinic , especially to foreigners. There are many smaller authentic Korean medicine clinics in Seoul with more transparent pricing and a much more personal approach.

I was in a car accident about a year ago, and I had been struggling with persistent neck and lower back pain. Since starting treatment at Jaseng, my recovery progress has been incredible. My pain has significantly improved, and my overall function and mobility are much better than I expected at this stage (it has been one week)
I am Canadian, and I flew to Korea specifically to receive treatment at Jaseng. From the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Jaseng to anyone dealing with chronic pain or injury-related issues, especially if you are looking for a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to healing.
