one clinic asked me to wire a deposit before i even arrive. is that a normal thing or a red flag? first time doing any of this so not sure what's standard

a deposit isn't unusual but a full wire transfer before arriving would make me nervous. most legit places just take a small deposit or card on the day

agreed, i'd ask if you can pay the deposit by card instead. and get the quote in writing first
